The SIG packer is designed
to count, accumulate and pack automatically carton blanks directly from the
sealer delivery apron into corrugated shipping boxes at sealer belt speed
up to 600 metres per minute or 200,000 cartons blanks per hour (whatever
The sealed carton blanks are received
by the packer directly from the delivery apron and introduced into the
waterfall arm in a shingled fashion.
The waterfall arm places the cartons sideways (across machine
direction) into the corrugated shipping box. The long waterfall arm serves also as
an accumulator to allow time for case change. Cases are supplied to the SIG packer
erected with bottom flaps closed.
Once the filling process is completed, corrugated shipping boxes
are evacuated automatically to be conveyed to top flap closing and
palletizing. Please note
corrugated case erector and bottom and top taping machine not included in
price of the packer. Carton blanks
are delivered into the case standing on the side and a two row option is
available if multi row packing is desired.
